About Us
The Nehemiah project for hope is founded by a group of concerned Haitians from different social backgrounds who have joined forces to unite their voices in the Haitian community both in the U.S and in Haiti.
After years of helping children, elders and families in Haiti on a personal basis, the founders of NPH realize that they could never make the impact that is needed by the people of Haiti on their own. For that reason we are calling on the community at large to support this project for the people of Haiti.
The need is immediate, as we offer food water and temporary shelter we meet critical needs and give people a chance to rebuild their lives. We believe that with your support the Haitian people we serve can become self- sufficient.
Our community development and vocational programs will help break the cycle of poverty and give people hope for a better tomorrow. Assistance will not focus on one area but on the surrounding towns of Haiti as well.
